HAND BUILDING POTTERY WORKSHOP

Join us for our ceramic pottery workshop to experience working in clay and gain one-on-on instructions on how to create your own ceramic piece. 

Our workshops are focused around pottery for beginners, so no prior experience is required. 

WORKSHOP DETAILS - 

 

• All the required material is provided The glazing and firing cost are included in the fee. 

• During this instructor driven pottery workshop, you will each be guided in the process of making a hand built technique like Pinching, Coiling and Slab methods. 

• Participants can make any two objects. 

• Your workshop pieces will remain in the studio for 4 weeks to be glazed and fired by the instructor . 

COST-

• Rs 2100/- per person for a two hour workshop including all the materials, glazing and firing. 

• You may collect your pieces after 4 weeks from the studio. In case you’re unable to pick up your pieces, we will ship them to you at an additional shipping cost. 

     

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• For ages 8 and above only. 

• The workshop fee is non-refundable. 

• The workshop is designed to teach students the basic techniques of handmade pottery and to teach skills to better your quality of work. It is designed to focus on making a few quality pieces. We will advise students on which pieces can be safely fired. 

• Please be prepared that some pieces will not be able to go through to the next stage. Pieces that are likely to break, explode or not be salvageable will not be fired. 

• During firing pieces are susceptible to cracks due to improper kneading in such cases new pieces won’t be made.
